Verità's whole point is honesty, so here are our terms in plain language. By using the Verità app or this website, you agree to them.

What verdicts are

Verità's verdicts are informational opinions, generated by AI from ingredient information, genuine review coverage, and the profile you provide. They're designed to help you decide whether a product is worth your money. They are educated judgment — not a guarantee, a prescription, or a promise about how any product will perform on your skin.

What verdicts are not

Verità is not medical, dermatological, or professional advice, and it is not a substitute for any of those. We don't diagnose skin conditions, and a verdict — including "worth it" — is not a claim that a product is safe or suitable for you specifically. Everyone's skin is different, and reactions cannot be predicted by any app.

Your responsibility

Purchase and use products at your own discretion. Patch test anything new, read the manufacturer's label and warnings (the label always wins over our summary), and stop using any product that causes irritation. If you have a skin condition, allergies, are pregnant, or have any medical concern, talk to a qualified professional before trying new products.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Verità and its creator are not liable for any reaction, injury, loss, or damage arising from products you purchase or use, decisions made based on verdicts, or reliance on any information in the app or on this site. Product information may contain errors or be out of date — formulations change, and we can't verify every label.

Accuracy and availability

We work hard to keep verdicts honest and grounded in real information, and we tell you when we're uncertain ("still learning"). We can't guarantee completeness or accuracy, and the app is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. Features may change or be unavailable during the beta.

Shopping links

Some buy links are affiliate links that may earn us a small commission. Verdicts are generated before, and independently of, any link — brands cannot pay for verdicts, ever. Purchases happen on retailers' sites under their terms.

Your account

You're responsible for your account and for the accuracy of the profile you share. You can delete your account and data at any time in Settings, or by emailing us.

Age

Verità is intended for users 13 and older.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves; the date above always reflects the latest version. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
